Hoya PRO ND1000 58mm Neutral Density filter

ND2 filter reducira 1 blendu (f-stop), 1/2, 50%
ND4 filter reducira 2 blende (f-stop), 1/4, 25%
ND8 filter reducira 3 blende (f-stop), 1/8, 12,5%
ND16 filter reducira 4 blende (f-stop), 1/16, 6,25%
ND32 filter reducira 5 blendi (f-stop), 1/32, 3,125%
ND64 filter reducira 6 blendi (f-stop), 1/64, 1,563%
ND128 filter reducira 7 blendi (f-stop), 1/128, 0,781%
ND256 filter reducira 8 blendi (f-stop), 1/256, 0,391%
ND512 filter reducira 9 blendi (f-stop), 1/512, 0,195%
ND1024 filter reducira 10 blendi (f-stop), 1/1024, 0,098%
ND2048 filter reducira 11 blendi (f-stop), 1/2048, 0,049%
ND4096 filter reducira 12 blendi (f-stop), 1/4096, 0,024%
ND8192 filter reducira 13 blendi (f-stop), 1/8192, 0,012%

10-Stop Neutral Density Filter
3.0 Solid Optical Density
Permits Increased Exposure Length
Metallic ACCU-ND Coating
Clear Optical Glass Construction
One-Piece Aluminum Ring

The Hoya ProND1000 Filter is a solid neutral density filter that enables a 10-stop increase in exposure. This 3.0 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily.

This filter employs Hoya's metallic ACCU-ND coating on both sides of the substrate to create the neutral density effect and ensure maintained color neutrality between filter grades. It is constructed from high-quality clear optical glass for notable image clarity and is set within a durable one-piece aluminum filter ring.

Providing a 10-stop reduction, this filter allows you to control depth of field and convey movement more easily.
Metallic ACCU-ND coating ensures color accuracy and consistency between different ProND filter grades.
One-piece aluminum ring adds durability and rigidity for assured use and helps to prevent filter jamming.

The ACCU-ND technology in the Hoya PROND filters yields a truly neutral color balance that will not add any noticeable color-cast to your images. The Hoya PROND series is aimed at the still photography and HDSLR video markets. The series provides 9 filters from two stop to 10 stop light reduction.

The Metallic ACCU-ND coating on the PROND filters do not color shift as you move from one density to the next, a common problem with other series of neutral density filters. Now you can set your white balance once and have the same color balance even if you need to change filters due to changes in lighting, or for creative effect.

The PROND filters use Hoya’s exclusive clear optical glass that has a metallic ACCU-ND coating front and back to create the neutral density affect.

Neutral density filters are designed to reduce the amount of light entering your camera lens and should not have any other effect on the image. Reducing the amount of light allows for the use of wider apertures or slower shutter speeds for creative and dramatic effect in bright lighting conditions.

The HOYA PROND 1000 is an extremely dark neutral density filter with a filter factor 1000. This filter factor converts to a 10 stops reduction on the amount of light entering the lens. With this extreme filter motion is greatly blurred or depending on the speed some moving subjects will disappear altogether. With a ND filter as strong as the PROND 1000 shutter speeds as slow as 16 seconds or more are possible in daylight.
